Tackling Anti-Social Behaviour
By working together we can co-ordinate initiatives to reduce and tackle Anti-Social Behaviour, and put positive interventions in place to stop Anti-Social Behaviour before it happens.
In most cases your Neighbourhood Officer will speak with the alleged perpetrator to make them aware of the problems. In some cases this will be enough to resolve the problem. However, if the problem persists then your Neighbourhood Officer will work in partnership with the Anti-Social Behaviour Unit to find a way to resolve the problem.
The Neighbourhood Officer will:-
1. Carry out more detailed investigations
2. Identify potential legal or other remedies to problems
3. Prepare cases for Court
4. Support victims and witnesses of ASB
5. Work in partnership with other agencies to prevent and reduce ASB
