Playrangers in Huddersfield

Following the success of a summer pilot scheme Sadeh Lok are now offering Playranger sessions at three separate sites after school and during holiday periods. The free sessions will give local children a place to play in their communities where they can be together and feel safe.

Playranger sessions will be run at Benny Parr Close, Rashcliffe Hill Road and Jade Place for children aged 5 – 15 years old and activities will include football, team games, arts & crafts, parachute games and much more. Children also have the chance to request their own games and are encouraged to share their ideas with the Playrangers.

Children’s Links Business Development Manager Rachel Aylmer commented “we are thrilled to be offering the Playranger service to Sadeh Lok residents. The summer pilot scheme provided us with a fantastic opportunity to promote the high quality and variety of play services Children’s Links provide. Play is such an important part of growing up and we want to ensure that every child has access to high quality play sessions and equipment”.

• Jade Place – Wednesday 3.45pm – 5.15pm
• Rashcliffe Hill Road – Thursday 3.45pm – 5.15pm

The above sessions will be running from now until the end of March. We are currently arranging indoor facilities for the winter months and the Playrangers will update children and parents once these venues have been confirmed.
