Executive Team

The Sadeh Lok team is headed by the following Executive Directors; 

Ken Elliott MCIH MCIM - Chief Executive

Ken joined Sadeh Lok in March 1997 from the Newlon Housing Group in London, where he held the position of Procurement Director. He has extensive knowledge of housing association work with direct experience of all disciplines including that of a voluntary board member. He served as a former Vice Chairman of the Federation of Black Housing Organisation (FBHO) and serves as an Elected Member of the National Housing Federation Council. Recently he has been appointed to an advisory group within the Cabinet Office.

Clive Unitt FCA - Group Finance Director

Clive Unitt joined Sadeh Lok in August 2001. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and has a wide range of experience across the commercial and industrial sectors. Clive is Deputy Chair of the Trustee Company for the Pensions Trust and is a member of their Audit & Compliance Committee, Investment Committee and Remuneration and Appointments Committee.

Paul Dolan FCIH - Group Operations Director

Following completion of a degree in Housing from Sheffield Hallam University, Paul has worked for a number of housing organisations throughout his career.  During this time he has also taken a year out to work as a chef with Raymond Blanc at the two Michelin starred Le Manoir aux 'Quat Saisons' in Oxford.

As an Executive Director at Sadeh Lok, Paul has responsibility for operations within the business, including Housing Services, Development, Access Matrix and UP & Working Ltd.

Paul has studied Advanced Leadership at Ashridge Business School and was recently awarded a Scholarship at Cranfield University Business School. In 2010 Paul was awarded fellowship status with the Chartered Institute of Housing.  

Penny Gilyard PGDIP PM, MCIPD - Group Corporate Resources Director

Penny is an experienced professional who holds a post graduate qualification in Human Resource Management and is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

Penny has attended one of the UK’s most influential business schools, Cranfield University on the Executive Development course and is now an alumni member.  In addition Penny is an active member of the Institute of Leadership and Management and the Chartered Institute of Housing.

With a proven track record of operating at a strategic level within both the public and private sector Penny has substantial operational experience spanning the full range of HR services with recognised expertise in the interpretation of employment legislation, change management programmes, policy development and governance.

Elaine Clowes - Group Children’s Services Director

Elaine helped to found Children’s Links in 1993 to support the development of school aged childcare.  She has led its growth to its current position of employing over 80 staff delivering across twelve key areas for children and their families including development of play, youth inclusion, children’s participation, services for parents, carers, children and young people, childcare, grant making, workforce development and support services for over 200 voluntary sector childcare groups.

Elaine is a Chartered Director and has the IOD Diploma in Company Direction.  She also holds various Management qualifications and the Open University’s Certificate in Curriculum and Learning.  In addition she is a qualified youth worker with over six years experience of working with 11 – 19 year olds. 

Elaine is a Director of NCVCCO, Skillsactive and the Children’s Workforce Development Council. She is also a Trustee and Chairman of the Lincolnshire Community Foundation and Chairman of the Lincolnshire Children’s Fund partnership board.
