Sadeh Lok Housing Group was established in 1988. As a leading Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) Housing Association it continues to represent and support a range of communities today.
Through the provision of high quality affordable homes and value added community focus services, we are committed to delivering positive outcomes for our customers and communities.
Our houses and flats are designed to meet the needs of a variety of households including single people, couples, families, elderly persons, disabled persons and larger households.
We currently manage nearly 1100 properties in three geographical locations across Kirklees, Wakefield and Rotherham and our dedicated Housing Management Team is committed to customer satisfaction.
In addition we have Sadeh Lok Developments Ltd. This is the development arm of the business. The company has a history of working with our local authority partners to successfully develop new affordable homes across the areas where we operate.
The Eleanor Moorhouse Homes Trust is also part ofSadeh Lok and comprisesof 6 one bedroom bungalows at High Lea in Marsden. The Trust was formed in a bequest in the will of Ms Eleanor Moorhouse who died in 1985. She was one of three prosperous sisters born in the village of Marsden. Eleanor Moorhouse requested that her wealth be used for the good of the local community.
As of the 1 April 2015 Sadeh Lok joined the Incommunities Group. Incommunities is one of the largest social housing providers in the UK and provides affordable, high quality homes across the Bradford District. You can find out more about Incommunities here www.incommunities.co.uk
The partnership represents an excellent fit which will bring benefits to both organisations. Incommunities and Sadeh Lok share similar values and a strong commitment to improving the lives of our customers through the services we provide.
Forming this partnership gives us the opportunity to grow our business, broaden our customer base and deliver enhanced value for money services such as gas servicing and maintenance. We see this as a positive move for the association and for our customers and are looking forward to the next chapter in the life of Sadeh Lok.
