Our Organisation: Achievements
Since our formation in 1988 our most important achievement is the provision of over 1,000 homes that our customers can be proud of.
We run a successful Day Care Centre in Dewsbury which provides an opportunity for elders in our community to meet and socialise and engage in learning activities or pursue hobbies.
We have achieved the Charter Mark award for excellence in customer service in 2002 and again in 2006.
Sadeh Lok has signed up to the new Charter Mark status and is now assessed on an annual rolling programme basis. In 2007 at our annual assessment we demonstrated that we continue to improve our performance in customer service. A significant highlight from the assessment visit was the assessor's comment that "Sadeh Lok is an organisation with real vision."

Sadeh Lok also achieved Investors In People status in 1999 in recognition of the organisation's commitment to the development of its employees and this was awarded again in 2002 and for the third time in June 2005. For more information about Investors in People go to www.iipuk.co.uk
In 2002 we were proud to announce that our Chair, Balbir Singh Uppal, was awarded the OBE for his services to the community.
