Keeping You Safe
- Every year about 40 people in the UK die from carbon monoxide poisoning caused by faulty gas appliances and flues, and many more people suffer ill health as a consequence
- As your landlord, Sadeh Lok has a responsibility to ensure that the gas appliances we provide in your home are safe and to check them once a year
- When this safety check is undertaken the appliances will also have a full service and the smoke detectors in your home are also tested
- You also have a chance to win £25 in the monthly ‘Be-in-to-Win’ prize draw – every resident who allows the gas servicing contractor access to complete the gas safety check and service on the date on the notification letter, or re-arranges the appointment with the contractor before they attend, are automatically entered in to the prize draw
- The gas appliances Sadeh Lok provides in your home are the central heating boiler and any gas fires

As well as the annual safety check and service we also have arrangements for the contractor to attend to any breakdowns should you be unfortunate to experience a breakdown to any of those appliances -
for information on how to report a breakdown call our Customer Service Team on 01484 435715, choose option 1, or email customerservices@sadehlok.co.uk - A properly serviced and maintained gas appliance will not only keep you safe, but will work more efficiently, meaning it will burn less gas and will save you money on your fuel bill. All that we ask is that you provide access when our contractor contacts you
- Our contractor, when servicing the appliances provided by Sadeh Lok, is also obliged, by the Gas Safety (Installation & Use) Regulations, to give your cooker a visual check to ensure that it is safe and correctly connected to the gas supply
- Should the contractor identify any faults with your cooker, you will be told about these, it is then your responsibility to ensure that you have the faults repaired
- The current Sadeh Lok contractor is Aqua Interiors

Emergency Repairs - 01484 435 715
To report a repair during normal office hours (9am to 5pm Monday to Friday) please call 01484 435715 choose option 1. To report a non-emergency repair you can also email the Customer Service Team on customerservices@sadehlok.co.uk
To report an emergency repair* outside of normal office hours (between 5pm to 9am Monday to Friday, weekends and Bank holidays) call 01484 435715 choose option 1 and follow the instructions.
*Only genuine emergency repairs can be attended to out-of-hours. These include the total loss of electrical power; total loss of heat; a burst pipe causing flooding to your home. Please report other repairs during normal office hours.
Please do not email emergency repairs as there may be a delay before they can be responded to, which during Bank holiday periods could be several days.
Anti Social Behaviour - 01484 435 715
If you experience anti-social behaviour after 5pm and are unsure of where to turn you can call 01484 435715 choose option 1, then option 3 for the Out-of-Hours helpline. The operators on duty provide support and advice on low level anti-social behaviour issues, all in the strictest of confidence.
If you feel that you or your family may be at immediate risk or harm please dial 999 for the Police (101 in any other situation where the Police need to be notified but there is no immediate risk).
