Being Taken to Court
- Court action may be taken if the amount of arrears is not cleared or substantially reduced by the time the Notice of Intention to Seek Possession expires. At this point Sadeh Lok may ask the Court for a Possession Order to take back your home
- If payments are received through an agreement and the arrears are reduced, the Court may be asked to grant a Suspended Possession Order. This means that you will incur Court costs
- The Order remains enforceable until both the rent arrears and Court costs have been paid in full
- If the terms of the Possession Order are broken, the Association will apply to the Court for a Warrant of Eviction. The Court Bailiff will then set a date for eviction
