Achievements
Since our formation in 1988 our most important achievement is the provision of over 1,000 homes for the benefit of our customers.
Audit Commission Inspection
In February 2009 the Audit Commission carried out a Short Notice Inspection of the Resident Involvement and Income Management Services provided by Sadeh Lok. The Audit Commission found we have promising prospects of improving these services.
Customer Service Excellence (CSE)
We have been holders of the Chartermark award for excellent customer service since 2002. This award has now been replaced by the Customer Service Excellence Award, which we were successful in achieving in February 2010.
Feedback in the assessment report refers to Sadeh Lok as an innovative, forward-looking and proactive social enterprise in which the customer is always first. It also states that Sadeh Lok provides a high quality service and that staff are very positive, enthusiastic and committed.
Investors in People (IIP)
Sadeh Lok also achieved Investors in People status in 1999 in recognition of the organisation’s commitment to the development of its employees. Sadeh Lok has successfully retained this award following further inspections in 2002, 2005 and 2010.
OBE
In 2002 we were proud to announce that our Chair, Balbir Singh Uppal was awarded the OBE for his services to the community.
